Jeffrey K. Cohen, MD
Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Cohen is president of Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, and also serves as the President of Triangle Urology Group, and associate professor of surgery at Drexel University/Allegheny General Hospital. 

Certified by the American Board of Urology, Dr. Cohen received his medical degree from the State University of New York – Syracuse Upstate Medical Center in 1979. 
 
Dr. Cohen completed his internship and residency training in surgery and urology at the Case Western Reserve – University Hospital of Cleveland, and a fellowship in urologic oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Institute, Houston, TX. 
 
He is actively involved in researching new technologies for urological disorders and has been instrumental in pioneering cryosurgery for the treatment of prostate and renal disorders.  
 
Dr. Cohen has authored numerous articles and lectures and serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Urology and Urology.   He maintains memberships in several medical societies including the American Urological Association (AUA) and the American Medical Association (AMA). Recently, he served on the AUA New Technology and Treatment Advisory Committee.   

In 1996, Dr. Cohen was selected to be listed in these two well-respected lists, The Best Doctors in America: Northeast Region (1996-1997) and The Best Doctors in Pittsburgh - Pittsburgh Magazine.
