George Ventouris
Director of Filter Technologies

Mr. Ventouris has been responsible for leading the development and manufacturing of all Liquid Crystal Tunable Filters for ChemImage across all business lines since 2013.  He joined ChemImage as a senior engineer for manufacturing and supply chain development in 2007.

Prior to joining ChemImage, Mr. Ventouris led all LCD prototyping for Motorola Labs including an intensive 18 months within their strategic sourcing team – developing sophisticated cost models and participating in supplier negotiations as part of their supply chain business development.

He also spent five years at Hana Microdisplay as the lead manufacturing engineer for the LC Cell back end and RFID production lines. During this time, Mr. Ventouris successfully installed and brought up Hana’s first fully automated RFID line.  

Mr. Ventouris earned his BS in Physics from Kent State University and holds three patents.  He enjoys playing guitar, hiking, home remodeling and operating heavy equipment, and is an active booster for Buckeye High School cross country and track.
